The wedding.
When we settled on Sequoia National Park as our wedding venue, I dreamed up a magical menagerie of animals parading through the forest. Fortunately my (then future) husband was on board and together we crafted a wild artistic collaborative project and hopefully provided our friends and family with a memorable weekend parading through the woods.
Together (with some help from our friends!) we created:
120 cardboard masks
2 leather wedding masks
100 paper flowers made from maps
5 oversized animal heads
4 wall-size tree drawings stretched on canvas
15 cardboard animal centerpieces
1 rideable purple unicorn
